Top Alternative Medicine Practitioner in Anne Arundel County, Maryland | A Thank You to My Clients

When I was notified that Kristi Lea Holistic Health was voted top Alternative Medicine Practice in Anne Arundel County… my first reaction honestly wasn’t pride.
It was a pause.
Because this wasn’t really an award for me.

The Meaning Behind the Recognition
It was a reflection of hundreds of conversations, vulnerable appointments, frustrating healing setbacks, late-night research messages, tears in my office, victories in your labs, and the courage each of you showed when conventional answers didn’t explain what you were experiencing.
This recognition belongs to a community — not a practitioner.
And I want to explain why.
What This Actually Represents
People don’t come here because they want a supplement list.
They come because:
Their labs say “normal” but their body disagrees
They’ve been told to push through symptoms
They feel unheard
They want root causes, not management plans
This practice was built on partnership, not authority.
I don’t heal people.
I guide, interpret, investigate, and support — but healing happens because you participate.
You change routines
You commit to uncomfortable adjustments
You listen to your body differently
That’s what this award is measuring… even if the plaque can’t say that part.
My Thank You To You
To the clients who trusted a different approach
To the ones who stayed patient when healing wasn’t linear
To the parents advocating for their children
To the people who came in skeptical but hopeful
You built this.
Every time you chose curiosity over fear…
Every time you chose consistency over quick fixes…
You shaped what this practice became.
I’m deeply grateful you let me be part of your process.
Moving Forward
Awards are nice.
But what matters to me is that this space remains a place where:
You feel heard
Your symptoms are taken seriously
And your body’s signals are respected, not dismissed
Thank you for trusting me with something as personal as your health.
We’ll keep learning together.
